Whether you're in search of a place to relax and unwind, a stage to perform on, or simply somewhere to spend time in good company, you'll find it here.We welcome scenes for most RP plots: if you need a space for characters to sit and talk about serious matters, we'd be happy to accommodate you!

The Baths

The Escape's baths on the lower level, as well as the small space outside, are free of charge to all patrons; no need to worry about your gil purse here!Your experience with the Escape's baths begins by stepping into a spacious and comfortable changing room. Feel free to stow your usual attire in one of the lockers; you can rest assured anything you leave with us will be safe.After changing, soothe your tired body and soul with our communal baths, suitable for all folks of the realm. Internal heating and self-cleaning magicks help to ensure comfort at any time of day - and clear out those pesky crumbs! If you are inclined to order from our menu before settling into a bath, we can deliver downstairs.We also offer 'the Rolanberry', a private chamber for small groups, on request. Feel free to pick a berry from our hanging plants as you take some time for yourself - some clients have even been known to fall asleep out of sheer comfort! Should you wish to add to your experience, you can buy a herbal infusion for the Rolanberry: for 500 gil, our staff will add your choice of chamomile, lavender, or sweet alyssum to your bath.If even the relaxation that the Rolanberry provides is not enough to satisfy, ask Lialle about the Escape's new premium bathhouse option, available by appointment only.

STAFF

Originally hailing from the northeast of the Black Shroud, Lialle Iselin has travelled the realm and taken in the myriad wonders it holds for those who dare to look. As a result, this elegant Elezen has a broad range of experiences that often overlap in surprising ways, from the culinary arts to clothcraft and leatherworking.Nowadays, Lialle runs the Escape as a small business and is slowly but surely making a name for herself as a fashionista. She runs a side business, 'Lialle Iselin's Bespoke Tailoring', making her own outfits and taking commission requests from anyone who needs a high-society piece in their wardrobe.Feel free to invite her to join in on conversation during your stay! Lialle is always keen to hear about the goings-on of her clientele, be they an Escape customer or in need of a new look.

The beautiful and kind-hearted Ny'ope Genhu steps in to help whenever her beloved Lialle needs an extra pair of hands to keep the Escape running smoothly. In moments of downtime, she can be found relaxing behind the counter, making conversation with patrons, or taking the stage to play some music if the mood strikes her - which can be often!Ny'ope also runs venues of her own: Clemency, the café by the beach, and the Vineward tavern, where all are welcome to stay and relax in comfort. But no matter where she goes, she always has a smile for people.

Rules of the Escape

• While this is an 18+ venue, it is not a brothel or sex club. We allow open discussion of mature topics, but NSFW RP, whether spoken or acted, is not permitted in public channels under any circumstance. The occasional ribald joke may be acceptable, but please respect the wishes of other people, including the privacy of closed spaces such as behind the counter and the Rolanberry room.• Please wear suitable attire for the baths. If you have arrived without any, speak with Lialle to buy a set.• Be kind to yourself, other patrons, and the staff. This space is LGBTQIA+ friendly; hate speech and harassment is not acceptable under any circumstance and will result in staff taking appropriate action, up to and including a ban from the premises.• In-character roleplay is highly encouraged - though not mandatory - and our staff will remain in-character while on duty. Please use (parantheses) or ((double parantheses)) around out-of-character messages. As a reminder, not everyone will be entirely familiar, or comfortable, with roleplaying. Folks who are new to the scene should be made to feel welcomed and encouraged; everyone has to start somewhere!• Please do not spam emotes in the chat log, as doing so can clutter the chat box. In addition, please refrain from using /yell or /shout, as these chat options are reserved for staff.• Please be mindful of MSQ spoilers in public chat channels.• Please hide your weapons and dismiss minions during your stay. The drawing of unauthorised weapons will have consequences. Emotional support minions are permitted, as are emotional support Carbuncles.• The baths are free to use at all hours, even when staff are not present, but café services are unavailable outside of opening hours. (Even when staff are not on duty, you are to abide by the rules of the establishment while on the premises.)• This space is Lalafell friendly at all hours.
